AVIATION
Building experimental autonomous vertical takeoff and landing fixed wing aircraft. Programming is leveraging high end Arduino systems. Currently in flight test phase with successful flights logged.
MAKER
3D Printing
My FLSUN SR 3D delta printer keeps busy. All I need is an idea or a part need, and Autodesk Fusion 360. I generate parts and prototypes for whatever I can think up.
I also have access to one of the world's greatest collection of ancient sculpture and artifacts. I'm able to scan objects and reproduce them in 3D.
Building physical things is key to creativity and innovation.
Here's a giant fifty foot waterslide my son and I built in our backyard. We had to do the engineering and calculations for water head loss for pumping the water up hill, the correct angle for velocity and draft plans for a modular construction of a wood trough system. Constructed out of wood, we cut to plan and assembled it for a fantastic experience! Watch it in action here.

I'm currently working on a new series of paintings experimenting with a new technique.
It's an oil painting method known as alla prima or wet-on-wet. Where traditionally, the first layer of oil paint is allowed to dry before continuing, which can take several days or longer, this method is fast and is done completely wet.
