It's always been clear to me that the work environment plays a crucial role in caring for and feeding the people required to produce creative solutions for a living. Workspaces need to provide for all the regular ergonomic needs and play a huge role in fueling the creative professional. The proper workspace is designed to inspire, attract, and retain.
The workspaces I created not only served the designers who called it home but also served to attract folks from other departments to visit and learn, including a touch lab, a maker lab, 3D printing training, and a secret hideaway disguised as a server room.
